We had 2 fantastic meals while on holiday husband had a mixed grill and said it was the best hed had, definitely will be going back. Staff lovely and friendly-great service also child friendly,all round excellent place to enjoy a family meal.

We booked a table for the Maquay unsure what to expect, when we rang we were greeted with a nice receptionist taking our booking for 5.30pm, on arrival it was quite busy with families & couples the place was very lively. The food is very reasonably priced & a good choice. I went for the Sunday Roast Beef dinner followed with a Ice-cream Sundae and honestly can say it was well worth it. The food was plentiful & very tasty. The service was second to none asking "was everything ok with the meal" on a couple of occasions. The Doom Bar was on form. In my view it was lovely well organised, well cooked and well served. We will definitely be paying another visit.

Was recommended this pub / restaurant. So glad we visited. Really good atmosphere, lovely friendly attentive staff & great food. Dog friendly too. Bonus ❤️ (Only thing that I'd change is the stuffing) It wasn't roasted. Appeared to be microwaved from raw. Looked horrible and not appealing at all. Not sure if it was because we ordered after we got our food. We weren't told it was an option but it looked horrid 😝 Apart from this, loved everything. Staff a credit to the pub.
